Windslap

Up here in the Northeast Kingdom, the wind doesn’t play around. You might think you know what windburn is, but it’s nothing compared with what we get up here. On a cold day, the Lyndonville wind comes flying around the corner of the barn and whips at you until it rattles every filling in your teeth. It’s bracing stuff, and we actually love it. As long as you keep plenty of Bag Balm on hand you’ll be OK.

“I originally bought this as an anti-chafing product for long-distance cycling, but it’s also great (to moisturize) chapped, windburned (I cross-country ski in the winter), and extremely dry skin. I’ve rubbed it preemptively on my upper lip area when I have a bad cold, which works beautifully. I’ve also started using it as a cuticle cream. One tin can last a long time, so it’s a great value.” - Anonymous
